Self-catering accommodation on the Isle of Man is being allowed to open again from today.
Camping and ‘glamping’ facilities were given the green light to start up once more last Monday on the island.
However it will only be locals who will for the moment be able to enjoy the new freedoms as travelling to the islands is still not permitted as the border remains closed to tourists.
Phase six will see the borders open again to tourism, but there is no current timeframe for when this will take place.
The island yesterday said that there have been no further confirmed positive tests for coronavirus. In total there are seven active cases with five in the community and two in hospital. The contact tracing process is already underway.
The island has suffered 24 deaths in total
