On another day of political controversy Prime Minister has told a campaign-style event, that there can only be one way forward for the country – and that is with an election – and that he would “rather be dead in a ditch” than delay Brexit.
The Government meanwhile announced that MPs will get another chance on Monday to vote on their being an election.
The House of Commons rejected Boris Johnson’s plan for an election yesterday.
