Holiday package operator, Holiday Best has just launched new package holidays to Krakow from Manchester Airport, in partnership with Ryanair.

Poland’s former capital, Krakow, is a kaleidoscope of medieval meeting the modern day, antiquated pageantry cascading through student filled streets – with a couple of (alleged) dragon bones sprinkled in for good measure. Some of the must-see attractions include the Wieliczka Salt Mine, Wawel Royal Castle, St Mary’s Basilica, and of course the CollegiumMaius for the academics out there, an 15thcentury Gothic architecture university building and the oldest surviving of its kind in Poland.

In the summer, Krakow comes to life with festivals – including the famous Midsummer celebrations that last for 10 days – and Holiday Best are offering customers a stunning range of 4* and 5* hotels to rest after a day spent soaking up the culture. These include the 4* Metropolo by Golden Tulip that aims to bring together the Chinese and European, and the 5* Hotel Stary offering an elegant and romantic style just a quick walk to the Royal Castle on Wawel Hill.

John Milburn, Chief Marketing Officer at Holiday Best, said: “We’re so excited to be adding this brand-new destination to our portfolio, just in time for the summer. It’s been a long time in the works, but we love bringing new adventures to our customers, and we’re I’m looking forward to seeing our customers discover the magic for themselves.”
