Hobo Johnson has announced a UK tour for January 2024, with shows in Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol, Brighton and London.
Hailing from Sacramento, California, Frank Lopes cultivated the moniker Hobo Johnson after being kicked out of his parent’s house and left to live in his ’94 Corolla. Now propelling his way to the top, Lopes has built a grassroots following via viral homegrown style videos showcasing his individuality; an amalgamation of spoken word poetry, punk, folk and rap backed by his band The Lovemakers.
Self-produced, self-recorded and originally self-released in late 2017, debut album ‘The Rise of Hobo Johnson’ powered a breakout year that most musicians can only dream of, kicking off with the backyard performance of ‘Peach Stone’ that brought Lopes YouTube viewers by the millions, and ending with a huge intensely devoted fan base eagerly anticipating his next move.
From busking in the streets to selling out shows all over the world, Hobo Johnson returns with brand new music and a brand new tour.
