Hilton Manchester Deansgate has confirmed it will once again be hosting one of the biggest fundraising events in Manchester’s social calendar this October.
The annual Star Ball is back for the 13th year, and promises an evening of exciting entertainment, fabulous food and famous faces. Previous year’s guests have included boxing legend Anthony Joshua, West End star Christopher Biggins, along with a host of the Coronation Street and Hollyoaks cast.
Alongside long-term partner the DM Thomas Foundation for Young People, this year’s second charity partner has been announced as the Together Trust. The Cheadle-based charity offers care, special education and community support to young people, adults and families across the North West. Their expert staff support individuals with emotional, behavioural or social difficulties, physical and learning disabilities or autistic spectrum conditions, believing everyone deserves an equal chance in life.
The DM Thomas Foundation aims to transform the lives of disabled, sick and disadvantaged young people through a wide range of projects, across the UK. They provide the equipment, skills and opportunities for young people to be the best that they can be.
Throughout the past 12 years, the Star Ball has raised over £1million which has been split between the DM Thomas Foundation and a range of chosen charities.
