Greater Manchester Police have submitted a file to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) for advice as part of their investigation into incidents at Manchester Airport on 23rd July.
In a statement released this morning the force said
We have submitted a comprehensive file of evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service for advice as part of an investigation into an into a series of alleged criminal offences which saw three police officers injured at Manchester Airport in July.
“GMP Major Incident Team investigators, led by a highly experienced Senior Investigating Officer, have been thoroughly investigating the incident.”
Four men remain on police bail after the incident with two Police officers being investigated by the IOPC
