Music industry disruptor GigPig has moved its growing workforce into Bridge Street Studios after the company raised capital

Music industry disruptor GigPig has moved its growing workforce into Bridge Street Studios.

It comes after the company, a management and booking platform which connects musicians to venues, raised significant pre-seed capital.

Workspace advice specialist Level secured the new office deal for GigPig.

And its rapidly growing team have moved into the now fully-let Bridge Street Studios in Manchester city centre.

Kit Muir-Rogers, Co-Founder and Head of Sales at GigPig, said: “Given our recent growth and headcount increase we required a flexible office deal that would bolster our UK expansion strategy.

“Level understood our requirements in totality and efficiently provided us with a new home in which to grow from. In fact, such is the impression Joe Averill left on us, GigPig has appointed Level as its exclusive property agent as we continue with our UK expansion plans.”

Founded in the first quarter of 2022, Level solely represents tenants to find workspaces fit for their people at the best value for their business.

It doesn’t represent any landlords or sell their office space.

The company has already secured a raft of deals for start-ups, scale-ups, SMEs and enterprises across a wide range of sectors and is currently expanding its presence into London and Leeds.

Founder and property entrepreneur Joe Averill said: “Prior to launching Level I was clear in my mind that the office market needed equalising. Tenants need it to be levelled up and that’s what our mission will always be.”

He added: “We’ve been advising businesses including Modern Milkman, Venditio, Kitman Labs, INEVITABLE, Fairmont Recruitment and GigPig. And we’ve enjoyed every second as we know that there’s no one else in Manchester that represents tenants like we do.

“We’re honest and have no conflict of interest when advising. And we have no problem saying to businesses that they don’t need to come back to the office full-time if hybrid/remote works for the firm and saves on their real estate costs.

“People fundamentally want choice and flexibility for their businesses and Level is positioned to truly look after their best interests as they grow.”

GigPig’s office at Bridge Street Studios is on a flex lease of 12 months.

Property development and investment firm Watch This Space is run by Michelle Rothwell.

She said: “Our development aim at Watch This Space is to take ordinary tired spaces and create amazing places and I am delighted that is what we have achieved at Bridge Street Studios. It’s an environment where people are inspired.

“It’s also wonderful news that GigPig has chosen to move in with us in their exciting time of growth and expansion. Level executed its work seamlessly and we wish GigPig success in our community.”
