With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, here are a couple of cocktail recipes that could add something to the romantic occasion.
Fentimans – Hendricks & Rose
Fentimans Rose Lemonade, the perfect pink-hued option for those who are planning a special meal or looking to create some romantic cocktails at home, or forgot to buy roses!
For gin lovers, the Hendricks and Rose, a combination of Hendricks Gin, Rose Lemonade and Elderflower syrup, garnished with cucumber is the perfect pre-dinner treat.
- 50ml Hendricks Gin
- 125ml Rose Lemonade
- 10ml Elderflower Syrup
- Build all ingredients in a glass with ice.
- Garnish with cucumber
Amplify – Amplified Espresso Martini
New non-alcoholic spirit is inviting drinkers to approach the ‘nerve-settlers’ in a different way, through the Amplified Espresso Martini – giving drinkers a little boost of caffeine and the flavour and ceremony of a cocktail, minus the booze.
Add all ingredients to your shaker, fill your shaker with ice and then shake as vigorously as possible until almost too cold to hold. Strain into a cocktail glass and finally garnish with a small sprinkling of finely ground coffee.
- 50ml Amplify non-alcoholic spirit
- 15ml Honey Syrup – (Preferably a light honey such as Acacia mixed 1:1 with water)
- 60ml Strong Cold Brew Coffee
- Pinch sea-salt flakes – (10-12 flakes)
