Heywood Civic Centre re-opened its doors earlier this year and is now bringing its highly anticipated Christmas panto back

After being a committed COVID-19 testing hub for the local community during the pandemic, Heywood Civic Centre re-opened its doors earlier this year and is now bringing its highly anticipated Christmas panto back to the stage following the two-year break.

Former Corrie star Tracy Shaw takes on the role of the Giant’s evil henchwoman “Fleshcreep” bringing some fe, fi, fo, fun to a Trio Production twist on the classic Jack and the Beanstalk. This action-packed show boasts great songs, compelling dance routines and plenty of laughter for all the family as they watch Jack try to rescue Princess Jill from the Giant’s castle.

Abigail Hindle, Deputy Events & Programming Manager at Your Trust Rochdale, “We are very excited to be bringing the panto back to Heywood Civic this Christmas, especially being hosts to another Trio Entertainment production after our 2021 sell-out success at Heywood Sports Village.

With an array of famous faces taking to the stage, this year’s panto is going to be full of beans and a real treat for the whole family.”

As part of a jam-packed festive calendar from Heywood Civic Centre and Your Trust Rochdale, Jack and The Beanstalk will run from Saturday 17th December until Wednesday 28th December with matinee and evening performances.

Ticket prices start from £9.50.
