Four men will appear in court this morning after the events at Gorse Hill which saw six properties over the weekend where a number of suspected hand grenades and firearms were seized.
Local residents were evacuated as a precaution but have since been safely returned to their homes.
Nathan Morgan aged 36 of Milton Close, Stretford has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, being concerned in the production of Class B drugs, conspiracy to possess prohibited ammunition, conspiracy to possess a firearm and the supply of cocaine and heroin.
Graham Wellings,55,of Church Road, Stretford has been charged with conspiracy to possess prohibited ammunition and the supply of cocaine and heroin.
Gary Davies,63, of Derwent Road, Stretford has been charged with the supply of cocaine and heroin, possession of Class B drugs and conspiracy to possess prohibited ammunition.
Brian Day,48,of Milton Close, Stretford – has been charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm and the supply of cocaine and heroin.
