Two men were arrested, while a large quantity of cash and drugs were recovered as police raided a property yesterday evening in Blackley.
The address was found with nine occupants, six adults and three children, living at the property.
Five males have been arrested, two for possession with intent to supply and three for having illegal immigrant status.
quantity of blue pills and white matter was discovered and seized in various locations throughout the house, while a large amount of cash, several mobile phones and drug paraphernalia were also seized.
The children’s welfare will be managed by the district safeguarding team.
Inspector Derek Quinn from City of Manchester’s Neighbourhood team said: “B Relief Neighbourhood Policing Team are focused on removing criminality from the streets of Harpurhey, Blackley, Moston, New Moston, Collyhurst and Monsall.
