Missing teenager Leah Burns from Stockport has not been seen for over four weeks and despite the best efforts of police, they have been unable to find her so far.

Her friends and family also haven’t heard from the fifteen year old and she hasn’t used social media for some time.

She was reported missing on 7 February.

Leah is slim, white, about 5ft 2ins tall with long brown hair and green eyes.

She speaks with a Manchester accent and was last seen wearing a navy padded coat with fur trim on the hood, blue jeans, hooped earrings and she had her hair tied up in a bun.

Her tongue is also pierced and she wears a long thick silver chain with a baby’s dummy on.

Leah is also known to colour her hair.

Detective Inspector Kris Williams, from GMP’s Stockport borough, said: “Our priority at this time is Leah’s safety and always will be.

“Despite extensive enquiries we have been unable to find her to make sure she is safe and all we want to know is that she is just that and has access to food, clothes and somewhere to stay.

“Leah, you are not in trouble and if you don’t feel comfortable talking to us, could you please get in touch with a friend or family member.

“Otherwise please call us or pop into a police station. We are here to help.

“If you have seen Leah, or have any information about her whereabouts, then please contact police on 101.”
