The family of thirty eight year old Ibizugbe Ikponnmwen who was killed last week after being hit by a car in the Bradford area of Manchester have paid tribute to her:

“It’s with a very heavy heart that we’re announcing the sudden death of my wife, in a road collision, words cannot express how much I am going to miss you and the vacuum that has been created!

“You will always be in my heart forever. May your gentle soul rest in peace in the Lord” said her husband Bolaji Onifade husband on behalf of the Onifade family

“You were my everything and you were my beloved sister. Life they say is not a bed of rose but you were my only rose. You stood through thick and thin. You never for once wanted the whole world for yourself but you always wanted everyone to be better. Your death has brought so many sad moments and so much pain. But I am assured that you are resting right in the bosom of the Lord.

“I am grateful to God for giving you to me as a sister and you are all that I ever wanted. If there were to be an opportunity to live another life I will always want you to be my sibling. I love you so much even in death. Rest In Peace my beloved sister.” said her– brother Collins Osayande Ikponmwen

“It is extremely hard to accept the death of a loved one. We all wish we had the power to make this sudden death go away. We wish we could turn back the hands of time. The death of our Sister, Aunt and dearest friend leaves a huge void in our hearts that only time can try and heal. We pray that the soul of our late Sister will find peace. My dearest Sister was a blessing to have in the family.

“She has left a remarkable legacy here on earth and she will never be forgotten and always loved by all of us in the family. The children were so privileged to have you as a special Aunty in their lives and you always loved them unconditionally and taught them lessons nobody else could.

“If only we could have you here longer, your time was so short while you were here with us. We pray that your soul will continue to rest in the Bosom of the Lord. You will be greatly missed!”
