The victim of yesterday’s incident which saw a man killed on Kingsway in South Manchester has now been named
30-year-old Sadiq Al-lami, died a short time later of his injuries following the best attempts of emergency services at the scene and at hospital.
Speaking of Sadiq, his loved ones said; “Sadiq’s warmth and love touched the hearts of everyone that he met. His love and laughter were contagious, and he was always full of life. Sadiq will be greatly missed and will never be forgotten.”
Specially trained officers are continuing to support the family who have requested further privacy whilst they grieve for this loss.
An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody for questioning.
