Rail passengers can catch a glimpse of the lush, green gardens rising above the town centre as they pass by atop the iconic viaduct.
The restored mill buildings – once part of Stockport’s proud industrial past – are now well on their way to becoming a buzzing new neighbourhood, with the rooftop garden just one of many lush, green spaces across Weir Mill, with plant-packed public squares, canalside hangouts and open air space for pop-ups and parties.
