A 64 year old pedestrian has been left seriously injured after being hit by a car in Bury yesterday evening while crossing Derby Road
The man taken to Salford Royal Hospital for treatment on his injuries, which are not immediately life-threatening or life-changing.
The driver of the car, a 44-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury. He was released under investigation last night.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or has dash cam or CCTV, to come forward and assist their investigation.
