A man in his 30’s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving and causing serious injury by careless driving after a collision between two cars in Farnworth
The incident happened on Saturday morning around 11.00 on Milton Crescent
One woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries where she remains for treatment.
Police are appealing for witnesses
