A 77 year old man is in a critical condition after being hit by a tram yesterday
The man,a cyclist, had collided with a Tram after entering the level crossing area at Simonsway, Wythenshawe yesterday afternoon
No arrests have been made and both the tram driver and Metrolink are assisting the police with their enquiries.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision occur, or those who may have footage of the incident – including CCTV, mobile or dashcam – should contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741 quoting log 2052 of 17/08/23.
