A cyclist injured ion Wilbraham Road last Sunday has died
The cyclist was one of two who were hit by an Audi A3 in the Whalley Range area heading in the direction of Chorlton-cum-Hardy.
Wilbraham Road was closed for more than five hours following the crash.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have seen the black Audi A3 around the time of the accident.
Officers are appealing for witnesses, dashcam and doorbell footage that may have picked up the Audi on the road just before, during, or just after the accident.
PS Phil Shaw, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Firstly, our thoughts are with the family, who now request privacy as they try to come to terms with the loss of their loved one.
