CUPRA’s Speakeasy Socials are designed to inspire, educate, and connect, with talks, Q&As, and networking sessions featuring pioneers across hospitality, music, fashion, and wellness.
Wednesday 24th September – ‘Experience is Everything’ – the world of creative events continually evolves to exceed the ever increasing expectations of both clients and consumers. From delivering world class entertainment and immersive state-of-the-art productions, new tech innovations, sourcing hot new locations or creating brand activations at the biggest festivals on the planet – experience is everything!
Hosted by Matty White, who’s presented for the likes of BBC, Channel 4 and Manchester’s Finest, the panel will feature: Natalie Lea – Spaces Director of Broadwick Live, Holly Williams – Events and Communications at CUPRA and Neil Lofthouse – Founder of Square Fish Events
Wednesday 1st October – ‘Creating Community’ – Meet the female pace-setters in the North who have cracked the code to building community online and translating it IRL. Representing Northern voices, viral dance sensation Zoe Baptiste, content creator Alice Lambert, former YouTube + Talent Manager at JD and founder of Chlo&Co Agency, Chloe Mccullough and founder of talent agency Our Cnect, Laura Quick, take to the panel to share their secrets on how to create community and influence in the digital era.
CREATIVE HEADS
Every Thursday evening from 6pm
The creative community HEADS takes over CUPRA City Garage weekly, curating a rotating programme that gives Manchester’s artists, musicians and creatives a platform to collaborate and showcase their work. HEADS, known across the UK for grassroots events and networking, will bring open mics, art clubs, and now, meet-ups to St Ann’s Square.
2nd October: Creative Meet-up bringing together emerging and established figures from Manchester’s cultural scene.

HEADLIGHT
Every Friday from mid-September
Launching this September, Headlight is a brand-new weekly residency dedicated to emerging musical talent from Manchester and beyond. It will host exclusive listening parties, Q&As and intimate album launches, shining a light on rising stars and the next generation of UK music.
On Friday 26th September, Victoria Jane (@_victoriajane) – the soulful singer-songwriter, will host a Q&A and play her new EP to an invited audience.
On Friday 3rd October, award-winning Malawian-born Afrohouse artist Hazel Mak (@hazelmakmusic), who has been recognised at the AFRIMA Awards and supported by the British Council, will launch her latest album in Manchester.
Friday 17th October, Manchester’s rising afro-fusion artist PRIDO (@northsideprido) with co-signs from BBC 1xtra and the MOBOs, presents his long awaited debut album with an exclusive listening party at CUPRA City Garage Manchester.

4th October – MJ Cole (@mjcole) – A man who needs no introduction – the 2-step legend & UK Dance Music Maestro MJ COLE returns to Manchester for a super intimate set in our basement
11th October – Jaguar (@jaguarworldwide) – Radio 1’s JAGUAR brings her UTOPIA Record label to Manchester with special guests and affiliates MEGAN WROE & REIMOND
18th October – Chamos (@wearechamos) – INFRARED lands in the CUPRA City Garage for the very first time, with special guests Kurdish / Dutch Duo CHAMOS making their long awaited Manchester debut

Saturdays at City Garage feature pilates with Dominique Binns, Manchester-based instructor known for accessible yet dynamic sessions, yoga with Eirian, celebrated for her flowing vinyasa and community-driven teaching style, and the ORB Run Club (@orb.runclub), one of the city’s fastest-growing social running groups bringing people together through movement.~
