Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Jassim will both submit second improved bids for Manchester United before an extended deadline

A cut off of 9.00pm yesterday had originally been set for parties to set revised offers for the club

The first round of bidding took place last month and reports suggest that up to eight potential bids have been received with reports that the Investment Corporation of Dubai have entered the race

The Qatari  group remain fully confident as they consider their bid the best one for Man Utd with 100% ownership and investments in stadium, facilities, 1st team and Academy.

However Failsworth born Ratcliffe insists his project to buy the 69 per cent holding of the Glazer family will help with long term plan.

The Glazer family said in November they were considering selling United
