UK-based lingerie brand Lounge has opened its first Manchester-based retail space this February. The opening marks Lounge’s second retail pop-up, following a successful event in Covent Garden, and their first in a northern city.

This is a great opportunity for customers to meet the people behind the brand, get fitted by experts and shop-selected collections in time for Valentine’s Day, whether it’s a treat for yourself or someone else.

Open to the public between 4th-12th February, the pop-up shop at 35 King Street is fully stocked with Lounge’s luxury lingerie and loungewear. The store reflects the Lounge brand, offering customers an exclusive opportunity to immerse themselves in the full range which includes bestsellers across collections; underwear, intimates, apparel and sleep. They will also be stocking accessories and all sizes will be available as stocks last.

Highlights include a luxury fitting room experience including a ‘styling station’ so you can feel your best self while you try on your favourite sets. They are also offering an expert bra fitting service to ensure you get the perfect fit.

Exclusively, in-store customers will be able to shop for bras and bottoms separately – on-site our sets are currently only available as a bundle.

As part of Lounge’s Manchester retail pop up they will be running two exclusive events:

Since launching in 2015 in the living room of co-founders Melanie and Dan Marsden, Lounge has been on an incredible journey. Through its inclusive product offering, the brand empowers women worldwide and redefines beauty standards. Comfort Made Sexy is the mission – offering hundreds of lingerie and underwear styles for all women.

In 2016, the couple launched the brand officially and were on a mission to expand with the creation of Lounge Apparel and more underwear sets. Their living room could no longer contain the success of the brand, and so they moved into their first office and warehouse space.

In 2017, it was time to bring more Loungers on board. The couple hired their first employees, who are still with them, and they though it was time to take their ever-expanding brand overseas. After another year of extraordinary growth and demand, the team of six scaled up into their third warehouse space and launched an Australian website.

After celebrating their third Birthday with a sale, they branched out and launched the brand Lounge Swim, taking their new collection to Miami Swim Week. Soon another warehouse move followed for their 25-strong team, and they kickstarted their #FeelYourBreast charity campaign which has subsequently seen Lounge raise £104,837 for their partner charities.

After a testing year with the pandemic, they proudly took their first steps towards sustainability with their Bamboo Triangle range made using natural bamboo fibres blended with stretch to create high-quality garments while minimizing environmental impact.

In 2021, they moved into their current Solihull HQME launching 39 new products, shipping 5.6 million items and opened two brand new distribution centres in the UK and Mainland Europe. Innovative products ranged from a beautiful range of basics to their first ever nursing bra in-line with their core concept ‘Comfort Made Sexy is for everyone, every day’.

In 2022 they also reached the fundraising milestone of raising over £500,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness.

To see and try the Lounge range for yourself, visit their pop up retail shop at 35 King Street, Manchester, M2 7AT until 12th February.
