Following England’s 3–2 victory over Mexico in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Round of 16, Co-op Live has announced it will host one of Manchester’s biggest watch parties as the Three Lions continue their quest for World Cup glory.
On Saturday, 11th July from 8pm, football fans from across the region are invited to gather at the UK’s largest indoor arena to watch England take on Norway in the quarter-final. The match, kicking off at 10pm (BST), will be played in Miami, Florida.
For one night, Vertu Place – Co-op Live’s huge main ground floor fan activation space – will be transformed into Manchester’s ultimate World Cup fan zone, bringing supporters together to experience every moment of the action on Co-op Live’s spectacular 23-metre 4K HD screen.
With live entertainment, pre-match build-up and an electric atmosphere inspired by the UK’s biggest live events, fans can cheer on England from first whistle to last as hopes grow that it’s finally coming home.
Supporters will experience a vibrant programme of entertainment including live music, DJs, and pre-match warmup fan engagement. Food and drink will be available from Big Chicken, Co-op Live’s iconic Soundbites brand, as well as the Co-op Kitchen, with pints from £6.50.
As the UK’s largest indoor arena, Co-op Live has quickly established itself as one of the country’s leading destinations for live entertainment, and this special watch party will bring the same world-class production values and fan experience to one of the biggest sporting occasions of the year.
