The third instalment of Clothes Cycle Manchester is coming to Victoria baths on Sunday 12th May. With over 100 sellers, we’re bringing the UK’s largest thrift market back to the capital of the North.

But it’s not just about shopping—attendees can enjoy live music from local DJs, indulge in delicious street food, and sip on refreshing drinks from our fully licensed bar. Plus, shoppers can take a break from thrifting by visiting our nail and tooth gem artists, or permanent jewellery stand, all of which will be available onsite throughout the day.

We will also be hosting an all-day clothing swap. Attendees can bring a tote bag filled with preloved items and trade them in for a fresh haul from our swap rails. It’s the perfect way to refresh your wardrobe guilt-free.

Clothes Cycle is a sustainable fashion and accessories brand created by university student Poppy Collingwood-Cameron in 2022.

‘’I have always been highly interested in thrifting and second hand shopping since my early teenage years. However I was often left frustrated by items turning up from eBay or Depop and not fitting me or not looking like the images. I found that the in-person thrifting events I attended were usually overwhelming and provided low-quality stock presented unappealingly (items creased, sometimes dumped in large piles and/or smelling not great). This affected my experience and made thrifting in person, tiring, unenjoyable and often unsuccessful. This inspired me to create a space where thrifting was fun, enticing and not off-putting, particularly to those who were not ‘die-hard thrifters’ and to help encourage people to shop sustainably. Clothes cycle was born out of a desire to solve all the issues that traditionally came with thrifting and put people off buying second-hand clothes. Sustainable fashion practices accelerated hugely during lockdown and the company has captured the innovation and entrepreneurship that surfaced among gen-z during covid, many of whom set up the small business selling pre-loved and sustainable clothing during Covid.’’
