Indian street food restaurant, Chit ‘n’ Chaat, is opening at Trafford this Autumn in the Upper Orient.

Originating from a vision to bring vibrant Indian street flavours to new markets, the menu includes a vast choice of street-food inspired small plates, as well as curries, noodle dishes and breads.

As a Manchester born and bred brand, with locations across Greater Manchester in Cheadle, Rusholme and Deansgate, the new Trafford Centre location is Chit ‘n’ Chaat’s first shopping centre restaurant and promises an exceptional dining experience, at an affordable price.

To celebrate the opening, Chit ‘n’ Chaat diners can enjoy live Bollywood entertainment, with guests invited to sample a variety of dishes throughout the day, enjoying a 25% discount off their bill.

Sagar Modha, Co-Founder of Chit ‘n’ Chaat, said: “Trafford Centre is a dream location for our brand. After nearly two years of planning, we are proud to achieve this milestone and look forward to welcoming customers. Our vision has always been to bring the vibrant flavours of Indian street food to new markets, and Trafford Centre provides the ideal platform to do just that. We’re eager to share our culinary heritage with our customers and look forward to the exciting journey ahead.”

Simon Layton, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, added: “Chit ‘n’ Chaat’s arrival at Trafford Centre boosts our dining scene with authentic Indian street food. We’re thrilled to welcome them and believe their delicious menu will quickly become a favourite among our visitors.”

Adding to the centre’s diverse array of dining options, Chit ‘n’ Chaat will form part of Trafford Centre’s new ‘Eastern Garden’ dining area in the Upper Orient. The area, which was once referred to as Chinatown, will be a vibrant and visually stunning dining destination.
