Fresh from Channel 4’s The Great Christmas Bake-Off, presenter, broadcaster and writer, Terry Christian is back at The Edge to host the first Celebrity Pop Quiz for 2023.
Terry did such a fabulous job of hosting the quiz back in December that he’s returning to the award-winning cafe bar, The Dressing Room at The Edge Theatre & Arts Centre on Friday 3rd February. Bringing his own flair to the Pop Quiz and with an impressive all-round music knowledge, Terry’s a perfect stand-in*. As he says,
“The Edge is a wonderful organisation and I had a lot of fun hosting the Festive Pop Quiz in December, so it’s good to come back again. It’s not an easy quiz but it’s great pretending that I know all the answers!”
With each round having a different theme including Manchester Music, Lyrics, Next Line, Albums, Novelty Records, Real Names…the Pop Quiz covers all music genres and eras with lots of silliness thrown in the mix too! Plus there are lots of opportunities to win *spot prizes* throughout the night…tickets for The Ritz, Band on the Wall, Manchester Arena…signed music biogs, pictures, t-shirts…with more great prizes at the next one too.
Doors open at 7pm and the Pop Quiz starts at 8pm (with an interval). Tickets are £15 per person for the evening, with 6 people per team.
The ticket price includes a complimentary platter of delicious snacks per table. The Dressing Room Cafe Bar is open for drinks and nibbles throughout the evening, with table service during the quiz itself!
