From the team that brought you Streets Ahead – a two-day free festival of street theatre, with a twist, all around Castlefield
There’ll be two days of fabulous street theatre right on your doorstep this July when the amazing Castlefield Follies arrives in town.
Over the years Manchester’s outdoor festivals have put the city firmly on the map – and this year Castlefield Follies brings you a weird and wacky weekend of street theatre which is completely free.
Look out for puppets, circus, dance and music in the Roman Fort, Arena and all around the Castlefield Basin.
There will be giant wolf and lobster, invisible men and women, a puppet show, lots of music including a Klezmer band, plus circus perfumers and dancers.
Companies featured include: Whalley Range All Stars; Artizani; Altered States; and even Madame Zucchini & her amazing Vegetable Entertainment!
There’ll also be street food, family fun, and lots of surprises.
