Two men have been arrested after an early morning raid on Middlesex Road in Brinnington as part of an investigation into drugs supply in the area.
The early morning warrant saw officers from the Vulcan team uncover various suspected Class A, B, and C substances, with an initial estimated value being in excess of £100,000.
Air weapons and a machete were also located and seized as part of the work.
A caravan linked to the address was seized and lifted by officers, as various substances were located within.
It will be assessed and may provide further evidence as part of the investigation. Further enquiries will take place in due course.
Two men – aged 54 and 20 – and a woman, aged 57, were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A, B, and C drugs with intent to supply. They remain in custody for questioning.
