Confused about how to vote in the European Referendum on Thursday 23 June? Frustrated with the in/out arguments?
On Monday 9 May 2016 (6pm to 8pm), Manchester Cathedral presents a chance to talk about how the outcome of the Referendum will affect key areas of our national life,including Business and trade, the environment, immigration and farming and agriculture.
The Café Conversations format will involve small-group discussions, led by well-informed leaders in these fields from the Greater Manchester and the North West, on the pros and cons of Brexit as it affects their area of responsibility and expertise. The intention is not to argue for one or other view, but to inform thinking.

The Dean of Manchester, the Very Reverend Rogers Govender said:

“This is an important event as we seek to encourage dialogue around the important issues that is of concern to all of us. These Café Conversations are designed to give everyone an opportunity to express thoughts and ideas on some of the big issues regarding staying in or exiting the European Union. Do come and join us for this important event!”

Discussion leaders include: Clive Memmott, Chief Executive of the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce; Ms Estelle Worthington of Regional Asylum Activism; Dr Ali Abbass, Chair of the Carbon Literacy Trust.
