A man armed with a knife attacked a group of preschool children playing by a lake in the French Alps on Thursday, injuring four along with an adult

The attack took place at about 9:45 a.m. local time, in Annecy’s city center.
A suspect was arrested immediately and is currently in police custody, the spokesperson said.
