Bolton Wanderers have signed Victor Adeboyejo from Burton Albion for an undisclosed fee and has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract at the University of Bolton Stadium.
The 25-year-old had attracted widespread interest following a prolific season to date with the Brewers in League One.
Wanderers’ boss Ian Evatt is delighted to have the powerful frontman on board to join fellow new recruit Cameron Jerome in the Whites’ goal-scoring ranks.
“Thank-you to the Board for allowing us to do this. This is quite a big coup for us and a big deal,” said Evatt.
“Vic is one of those who wants to continually learn and having Cameron as kind of a mentor will again help him learn what it takes to be a number-nine and score consistently going through the levels.”
