Police have established that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found in a car in Partington last night.
The body of the man was found in the boot of the car on Cross Lane East.
An investigation was launched and, following further enquiries, detectives have established that there was no third party involvement.
Detective Inspector Carl Gilbert of GMP’s Trafford borough: “First and foremost I would like to extend my sincere condolences to this man’s loved ones at this difficult time.
“We have carried out extensive enquiries since last night and we have now established that there was no third party involvement.”
