The world famous speedway club have teamed-up with the highly-renowned Youth Zone on Hyde Road, Gorton to deliver opportunities for local young people.

The ATPI Aces will open their doors to the charity for this Monday’s Premiership clash with King’s Lynn live on Eurosport. That will kick off an exciting partnership between the two organisations.

Belle Vue CEO Mark Lemon said: “For so long Belle Vue Speedway has been a great sporting institution in this area.

“But it’s a clear directive for the club to be more integrated into the community and for the next generation in the area to be actively involved in the club.

“We are extremely proud to link-up with HideOut, they are located directly opposite where the Aces original venue on Hyde Road was based.

“That venue was where the legendary status of the club was established with British World Champions like Peter Craven and Peter Collins.

“We can’t wait to work alongside such a great charity like HideOut. There are exciting times and opportunities ahead.”

Belle Vue, now based at the National Speedway Stadium, will actively integrate with HideOut for projects and potential training for local young people.

These could be opportunities in hospitality, mechanics, fashion and media amongst many, to name just a few.

Great Britain gold medallist Tom Brennan, who rides for the Belle Vue ATPI Aces, added: “It’s massive for speedway to be promoted with the next generation of youngsters and potential fans.

“It’s such an exciting sport and I’m sure that when kids go for the first time, they will love it and want to go back. I’m proud that my club, Belle Vue, wants to work with HideOut.”

HideOut Youth Zone is a safe and inspiring place for thousands of young people aged 8–19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, to enjoy their leisure time.
