Comic fans are invited to celebrate all things ‘Beano’ and ‘Dandy’ at Merseyway’s comic convention, Comic Fan Fest.
In collaboration with popular comic store, WOW! Comix, visitors can enjoy a variety of fun,
free comic-themed activities on Saturday 20 th August from 10am – 4pm.
Families are encouraged to bring along their cameras as Dennis and Gnasher will be
unleashed for meet and greet appearances at intervals throughout the day, while avid comic illustrators can create their very own comic strips from 11am – 3pm at the dedicated craft station.
Don’t forget to visit the trader stalls as popular comic publishers, artists, and writers will be
on hand to showcase their latest publications and artwork, including Dennis the Menace
artist, Nigel Parkinson, Minnie the Minx artist, Laura Howell, creator of Beano character
Lenny the Lettuce, Marc Jackson, Dennis the Menace colourist, Nika Nartova, DC and
Marvel artist, Steve Yeowell plus lots more!
