Dan Ashworth has officially signed as the new Manchester United sporting director from Newcastle.
In a statement released this afternoon the club said:
“Newcastle and Manchester United have reached an agreement for the immediate release of Dan Ashworth”.
“The terms of this agreement remain confidential between the clubs”.
The 53 year old has been on gardening leave since February when he announced that he had chosen to leave the club.
