Police investigating the fatal stabbing of a student in Manchester in the early hours of Wednesday morning are questioning a teenage suspect in custody today
A 19-year-old man was detained in the Fallowfield area of the city last night and is being questioned on suspicion of the murder of Luke O’Connor a student at MMU,from Bedfordshire, who was fatally stabbed on Wilmslow Road
Police have been conducting a wide-range of thorough enquiries in the last few days since Luke’s death to establish the circumstances of the tragic incident and who is responsible.
At this stage, police believe that Luke did not know his attacker prior to the fatal encounter.
