FOLLOWING their commanding performance over Peterborough on Monday, the Belle Vue ‘ATPI’ Aces are hungry for success on the road when they journey to Ipswich Thursday, May 5.

The buzz around the club is palpable after the home heroes finally secured their first win of the season, and made a dream start to their Premiership league campaign in the process.

Now they’re on the hunt for their first away win of the year down at Foxhall, a track where they have enjoyed plenty of positive results and equal amounts of success.

The TruMix Witches meanwhile are still scrambling for their first win of the season, and they have quite the task ahead of them in the face of their determined opposition.

But club No.4 Charles Wright, who teamed up with new signing Matej Žagar to form a devastating mid-tier duo, says the ATPI Aces will not be complacent around the Ipswich boys.

He said: “Ipswich have had a rough start to the year, and we can relate to that so we won’t be taking anything for granted on Thursday, especially at Foxhall.

“They could just as easily do to us what we did to Peterborough so all the boys will need to be on point, but we’re approaching this meeting as we did Monday’s.

“I think it will be an interesting evening. Obviously, they have made a change with Ben Barker to try and strengthen up but they should still be very aware of what we’re capable of.

“Through the team now, we’ve proved just how dangerous we can be when we’re all firing and I know that all the boys are keen to continue this positive momentum.

“We don’t want to settle for just a consolation point. We want to come away with all four of them and we’re going into this meeting with that very much the target.”
