A festival that promises to be ‘the talk of Tameside’ is coming to Stalybridge next month, offering two days of live music, entertainment, and a chance to raise funds for The Christie Charity.

Manchester’s newest music festival, StalyFest 2025 will take place on Friday 9 May, and Saturday 10 May, at Stalybridge Celtic’s Bower Fold stadium. This two-day event, organised by S1 Event Solutions Ltd, aims to bring something fresh and exciting to the local community, as the stadium is transformed into an epicentre of music and celebration.

StalyFest is expected to attract up to 5,000 people each day and will bring together an impressive line-up of top bands, local rising stars, DJs, and artists to create a weekend to remember, while supporting a cause close to the region’s heart.

Friday night kicks off club-style with music curated by Danny B and headlined by Majestic. The line-up also includes Ellie Sax, StephaniB, and top DJs Tristan Walsh, Chris J Frater, and Will Anthony.

On Saturday, indie legends Cast and Starsailor take to the stage as joint headliners, joined by a lineup including Nigel Clark (Dodgy), Chris Helme (The Seahorses), and tribute favourites Oasis Supernova, with further support from The Beatles Dub Club, The Rolling People, Cobain Jones, and Plastic Heart. Broadcaster, musician, and DJ Clint Boon, will host Saturday’s afterparty, adding his iconic touch to the festival.

With the Christie Charity named as the official partner for the inaugural StalyFest 2025, funds raised will help The Christie hospital continue its vital work supporting cancer patients and their families across the Northwest.

Adam George, community fundraising co-ordinator at The Christie Charity, added, “We’re thrilled to be the charity partner for StalyFest 2025. It’s a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness and much-needed funds to support cancer patients. Stalyfest promises to be a fantastic local event bringing together legendary acts and the community – and every pound raised will help us fund life-changing research and patient care. We’re so grateful to the organisers and attendees for helping us make a difference.

Nigel Jones, Stalybridge Celtic’s Bower Fold’s Club Chairman commented: “Virtually everyone in the region will know someone who has relied on the amazing Christie hospital at a time of need, so we are so excited to name The Christie Charity as our partner for our first festival.”
