A 24 year old Royton been remanded into custody ahead of a scheduled appearance at Tameside Magistrates Court today
Shohad Miah of Firbank Road, Royton, has been charged with Kidnap,Section 18 GBH with Intent to cause GBH, Robbery and Intentional strangulation.
This charge relates to an incident which saw an 87-year-old man forced into a car, attacked, and thrown out on a dark road in West Yorkshire.
