The team behind one of Manchester’s most iconic streets has announced a new campaign to make the most out of summer. The King Street Wine Mile brings together the finest wining and dining establishments this side of the Loire Valley to offer a free glass of wine every Wednesday at selected restaurants along the street, with no strings attached.
Featured venues include Gordon Ramsey’s Lucky Cat, Petit Paris, El Gato Negro, Black Cat Club, and Tast Catala.
The concept, which requires no sign-ups, allows customers to also pick up a free scorecard at one of the wine stops to score and rank their chosen wine as they meander down the street.
Tom Royston, Director at DTZ Investors, said: “Any opportunity to bring our King Street vendors together is welcomed greatly as the community continues to thrive. Wine Mile Wednesday is part of our commitment to giving back to our new and returning customers, and we’re pleased that the selected restaurants are keen to get involved.
“As King Street continues to thrive year on year with new openings, pop-up shops, and increasing footfall, we’re looking forward to delivering even more initiatives that get the visitors to Manchester city centre excited about what’s on offer here.”
