Red Bull Dance Your Style, the biggest street dance battle event in the world, is set to host the UK Final at a new location this year. Taking place at Freight Island in Manchester, the UK winner will be revealed on Saturday 27th July.
The international mixed-style competition, which has been running since 2019, celebrates the variety of dance talent across the UK and a dancer’s ability to excite audiences with their interpretation of different music genres. The unique competition looks to unify dancers and spectators alike, through 16 rounds of freestyle dance which showcase any style from Hip Hop to House, Afro Dance, Locking, Voguing, Krumping and more.
Road to the UK Final, Red Bull Dance Your Style has visited cities across the UK for a nationwide open audition, including Swindon, Edinburgh, and Manchester. The last open audition is set to take place in London on July 13. Find out more and register for an audition here.
All successful qualifiers from these auditions will attend the final UK showdown on Saturday 27th July at Freight Island in Manchester. The UK Final is set to be an electric crescendo that sees finalists battle it out for their chance to compete at the Red Bull Dance Your Style World Final in Mumbai, India, in November.
The all-gender competition consists of 16 rounds where dancers battle one-on-one at each round, and the audience are in charge to crown the next UK winner through live voting.
