The Manchester United co owner Sir Jim Radcliffe has said that the club wants  to be where Real Madrid is today, but it’ll take time”

In an interview on Bloomberg Tv Radcliffe said that: “There’s room for improvement everywhere we look at Man United, we will improve everything”.

He said that The net spend at the club b since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson and David Gill is £1.1billion

Real Madrid’s is £200m and today they have 6 or 7 players valued at over £100m. United have none. And they have made the new Bernabeu…”, he told the business channel

Setting a reality check for United fans he said that “It will take two or three summer windows to get to a better place”

Radcliffe said the club had got more accountants than we’ve got sporting people at Man United”.

“If you’re not careful, the Premier League will end up spending more time in court than it is thinking about what’s good for the league”

However the brand name of the club is a word beater

“Everybody in the world knows of Manchester because of Man United”.

“Manchester United is like Coca-Cola, isn’t it? Everybody knows it. I’m not sure I know why, But it’s a fact!”
