The former head of the Coop Bank is to appear in court in Manchester next week charged with fraud

Paul Flowers the former Labour councillor and Methodist minister who stepped down from the Bank in 2013 after his drug use and sexual proclivities were revealed in the Mail on Sunday has been charged with one count of fraud by abuse of position between June 2016 and October 2017.

Flowers was in charge of the Manchester-based bank between 2010 and 2013.
