It’s time to pull on your leg warmers and dust off those neon lycra tights as you disco to raise funds for life-changing, preventative research.
In support of Prevent Breast Cancer, the Boobee campaign is hosting Bingo Bedlam, its brand new fundraising event, next month (19th November) at Manchester Central. The fabulous, fun-filled night will support the important work carried out across the region by the Manchester charity.
Guests can expect hilarious, fast-paced bingo featuring exciting prizes, fun games, a spectacular 80s disco and a tasty retro meal. Whether you fancy bringing out your girl-gang in full force or having an early Christmas do, the fun-filled bingo frenzy will have you sorted.
Adding to the nostalgic vibes, there will be a special Boy George tribute act from Boy Gorgeous. Renowned for his similarities to Boy George, Boy Gorgeous is sure to light up the room and inspire an unforgettable night with his incredible voice.
Guests will also enjoy a delicious 80s inspired two course dinner, plus themed cocktails to add a little extra bounce to their disco dancefloor grooves. Of course, 80s fancy dress is optional, but who wouldn’t want to get in the mood and sparkle in spandex and a fabulous headband? Especially when it’s for a great cause!
In addition, the event will feature 100 Manchester Boobees – women in Manchester that have either had, or have been affected by breast cancer. These women will share their inspiring stories and be part of a very special, show stopping catwalk. The evening will also see experts in breast cancer prevention give their insights into the charity’s mission to prevent and cure breast cancer through life-saving research.
The Boobee campaign is in support of Prevent Breast Cancer and aims to make Manchester one of the most breast aware cities in the country. Encouraging women to become more familiar with their breasts and the signs of cancer, the Boobee team are currently making their way across the city to promote awareness and explain why education on prevention is so important.
The showcase event for the Boobee 2022 campaign will start at 5pm, with doors opening at 4pm, at Manchester Central on Saturday 19th November. Tickets are priced from £50.
