Lancashire Duo Matt Parkinson and Saqib Mahmood were the only wicket takers as England crashed to a eight week defeat in their second T20 warm up game in New Zealand overnight.
Matt Parkinson dismissed Anton Devcich with his third ball in England colours and had two catches dropped off his bowling while Mahmood was the only other member of England’s inexperienced bowling attack to take a wicket as New Zealand posted 191-2 in reply to England’s 188-5, Colin Munro hitting an unbeaten 107 from 57 balls .
