With Victoria Station being transformed as part of a £43m development, the land next to it could soon be following with a masterplan for an office and two residential buildings.

Muse Developments in conjunction with Network Rail, who own the land are planning to make use of the two and half acre site with an eight storey office building with car parking beneath.

The residential buildings will comprise up to 475 units, although at the moment it is unclear what sort of reengital units they will be.

Restaurants, coffee shops and bars are planned for the ground floor areas which will address a re-planned Corporation Street and a new pedestrian route providing direct access into Victoria Station via a new Eastgate.

A detailed planning application is being prepared for submission in the last quarter of this year and it is anticipated that construction, if approved will begin towards the end of 2016 with a completion date in 2021
