A 42 year old man is in hospital with serious injuries where he remains in a stable condition in hospital after being hit by a car in Stockport last night
The accident happened around 10.30pm near to the bus stop on Wellington Road South, between the junctions of Union Street and Ratcliffe Street.
The driver of the car – a silver Ford S Max – remained at the scene to assist officers with their enquiries.
Police Sergeant Adam West, of GMP’s Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident, which has left a man with serious injuries.
“We are appealing to those with dashcam, witnesses to the collision, or anyone who saw the Ford travelling in the area prior to this incident, to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 0161 856 2993.”
