A 35 year old man has been charged in connection with an investigation into the death of Kailem Gibson on 30 August.
Martin Alan Davies of Gilmerton Drive, Manchester, has been charged with murder.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Magistrates Court today
A 43-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has since been released on bail.
Enquiries into the death of Kailem are ongoing, and the charge comes following a tribute paid to him by his family
