A thirty two year old man has arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, handling stolen goods, and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis following an incident in Littleborough last night
Police were called to reports concerning a vehicle being driven dangerously on Denhurst Road around 9.00pm
The car had overturned and was is believed to have collided with two members of the public a man, aged 35, and woman, aged 27 who suffered minor injuries.
Detective Sergeant Cahill from Rochdale Criminal Investigation Department said: “We understand this was a deeply concerning incident and I would like to reassure you, we are doing everything we can to establish the full circumstances.
“I would like to thank the members of the public for their assistance and cooperation whilst officers dealt with the incident.
“As our investigation continues, we are now urging for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has footage from the area to please come forward and report.
