A 29 year old man is in hospital in a stable condition with head injuries after colliding with a double decker bus in the City Centre yesterday afternoon

The man on roller skates collided with the bus on Princess Street at the junction of Mosley Street and brought chaos to the tram system

PC Karl Horner, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “As our investigation continues, we are hoping the pedestrian makes a full recovery.

“Due to the bank holiday and weather, Manchester City Centre was busy yesterday so we have no doubt that members of the public may have witnessed this collision and the lead up to it – perhaps even capturing footage on their mobile phones.

“I ask anyone with information or footage, whether that be from mobile phones, dash cams or cyclists’ action cameras to share it with us without delay.”
